JR Reality: Collective Participation & Virtual Art
Description:
How can we harness the power of immersive media for purposeful experiences?
World-renowned artist JR has carved a name for himself by posting large portraits of people from all walks of life in public spaces. His mission, to create an artistic utopia that challenges society’s norms around identity and freedom. With the advent of the Metaverse and AR, he’s taken it one step further by creating ‘JR Reality’, a global app that invites citizens to explore their local communities and connect via voice messages and portraits of themselves, virtually pinned to specific locations.
Join JR, JR Studio, Superblue and Nexus Studios to find out how JR Reality yields the power to enhance our collective expression, bring us closer together and produce the most participatory art project in the world
