SXSW EDU 2023
Awe & Wonder: Learning Design Beyond the Classroom
Description:
Similar to how architects design the built environment, educators should be intentionally designing the learning experience. This goes beyond the physical dimension to include the sensory, emotional and social experience of learning. Two experiential learning experts will share how to design integrated online and offline immersive experiences which connect the curriculum to the real world using awe and wonder as pedagogically useful tools.
