Designing Equitable and Inclusive Mental Health

Our mental health system is broken because of a lack of cross-sector collaboration, poor innovation, and non-inclusive design. Despite these challenges, a new paradigm of system design is growing. This paradigm is focused on using persona driven design journeys to build systems of care that are rooted in equity centered design and inclusion-based innovation. This talk will focus on: 1) teaching the audience how to build/use personas to drive design; 2) the principles of equity-centered design; and 3) how to employ inclusion-based innovation.
