SXSW EDU 2023
Museumlab
Description:
Julie Eizenberg and Jane Werner will use MuseumLab, a historic library turned museum for older kids, to explore the intersection of classroom and museum learning, reuse of historic buildings, designing for learning spaces, and creative problem solving in architecture. The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh and Koning Eizenberg shared the philosophy that the building’s past was equally valuable as its future, and built a space that honors that value.
