SXSW EDU 2022

Courseware as Code with GitLab

Description:

At GitLab our mission is to change all content from read-only to read-write so that everyone can contribute. This workshop presents Courseware as Code, a revolutionary approach to creating course content based on a foundation of DevOps. Course assets are stored as markdown files and treated as code in a repository. Continuous integration and continuous development pipelines are used to build the assets. Because content is stored in a central repository, everyone can contribute.
