These food desserts have exacerbated chronic disease, such as diabetes and obesity especially among marginalized communities. Even as, we produce more than $3 trillion in packaged foods globally each year. We are failing on all fronts, from affordable prices to nutrition to sustainability. Despite what appears to be an abundance of food options, many families do not have access to the healthy wholesome food they need. We believe that there is a better way to feed people and are dedicated to finding solutions to this problem.
