Tobacco & Social Justice: Expose & Demand Change
Description:
The tobacco industry has a long history of aggressively targeting Black communities with predatory marketing. The history of systemic racism continues to intensify and put the health of Black people at risk while the FDA considers an historic menthol ban. To expose the racist tactics & address the proliferation of menthol among Black communities, Truth Initiative is raising the voices of young activists & Black filmmakers to demand change.
