SXSW 2022
Using Tech for Good to Support Mental Health
Description:
According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, about 1/3 of Americans say the coronavirus has caused mental health problems. It’s no wonder telehealth is the fastest growing digital health transformation trend since the pandemic started. Even before COVID-19, studies showed that Americans were already becoming increasingly unhappy, stressed and anxious – mostly due to the use of technology. While the rate at which telehealth is growing is a step in the right direction, what if we focused our efforts on building tech that supports our mental health instead of damaging it? In this session, hear from speakers at Gusto, LiveRamp, Wellness Coach and 2U on how telehealth has impacted mental health and how it will continue to help others take control of their overall wellbeing.
