SXSW 2022
Conscious Communities Can Protect our Planet
Description:
Our world is undoubtedly interconnected and whether we can see it or not, our actions greatly impact those we coexist with. As we see the continuous loss of biodiversity, degradation of our soil, and pollution of our air & seas, we must ask ourselves what we can do to make a change before it’s too late. This panel will discuss the interconnectedness of people & planet and will specifically dive into the impact of animal agriculture on our environment and how we can create more sustainable food systems that benefit our own health and the health of the planet. They’ll round out the discussion with tactics on how to build a community of advocates to address environmental change, the importance of education-and entertainment-on the issue and how we can work with public leaders to enact change.
