SXSW 2022
Voting Rights: Brands Taking a Stand
Description:
With the steady assaults on our democracy and with 47 state legislature introducing legislation to limit voting, consumers and brands are taking notice. Companies can no longer be on the sidelines when it comes to voting. Consumers want to know that their favorite brands support a free and fair democracy. The League of Women Voters will moderate a panel featuring our brand partners that have stepped up their voter engagement and will reveal the impetus behind those corporate decisions.
At this session we will hear from companies who have prioritized voting rights and have built civic engagement into their brand awareness. Learn what is at stake, how brands have built internal buy-in and how they plan to bring their vision to scale for the 2022 midterms.
