SXSW 2022
Casgliad Cymru: Cultural Stories & Hybrid Events
Description:
In this session we will be sharing our experience of working on the incredible genre defying FestivalUK*2022 Collective Cymru project. The sector leading panel will focus on exploring the importance of sharing our national cultural stories with hybrid experiences & how we can reshape these to engage with audiences. Featuring experts from across the UK cultural spectrum, Claire Doherty (National Theatre Wales), Kaite O'Reilly (Independent artist / Disability Arts Cymru), Gethin Evans (Fran Wen) & Will Humphrey (Sugar Creative), they will discuss how their new work, a transmedia story unfolding across Wales, asks us to rethink our shared imagined future and how embracing new technologies can encourage fresh perspectives, future thinking, and a radical approach to inclusion and access.
