Curating Black Art Through Independent Praxis

Description:

The purpose of this interactive presentation is to introduce participants to ART | library deco an online African American digital library and repository. Participants will have the opportunity to subscribe to the library in real time, interact with the library platform while listening to the presentation and learn how to be included in two open access projects.

Five areas will be emphasized that the library features including:

African American Art Library
African American Library Art Repository
Archive-It: Texas African American Artists Collective
Black COVID-19 Index
The Hip Hop Lib Guide
