SXSW 2021

Humanizing AIs and Mixed Realities

Description:

Now more than ever, digital products and services are replacing or augmenting what were traditionally face-to-face human experiences. However, Covid-19 and social distancing have made clear the emotional and behavioral health costs of losing that human connection. This talk demonstrates how behavioral design and cognitive neuroscience can help to put the human touch back into digital experiences, and what kinds of human connection simply can not and should not be replaced.
