The mass shift to remote learning has thrown the inadequacy of edtech into sharp relief. After billions invested in edtech, K-12 schools and colleges should have been better prepared for this moment. Instead, parents, students and educators struggled to make good on the promise of edtech “solutions' that felt like they were trapped in the 90s.
