SXSW 2021
Looking for Life at the Ends of the Earth & Beyond
Description:
Science isn’t just something that happens in labs. Research expeditions take place in extreme environments all over the planet – from the driest deserts, to the ocean floor, to hot springs and boiling geysers.
Join NASA astrobiologists in a panel discussion about how their field work helps us understand the extremes in which life on Earth can survive and thrive. They’ll share how this adventurous work directly informs how we search for extraterrestrial life in our solar system and beyond.
