SXSW EDU 2020
Redesigning Philanthropy to Solve Big Challenges
Description:
Our biggest challenges, including those in education, can’t be solved by individual organizations working alone. Yet much of funding flows this way and, while well-intentioned, often incentivizes the wrong behaviors: working in silos to address symptom-level problems. In this session, you’ll hear stories of successful change efforts; learn how leaders in philanthropy and beyond can fuel coordinated and sustainable change; and leave with actionable takeaways applicable to any big social need.
