SXSW EDU 2020
An Eye for Equity: Refining Our Equity Lens
Description:
#EdEquity is buzzing-- and like most buzzwords in education, it holds equal parts promise and pitfalls. In response, I've developed a conceptual framework to assist practitioners at all levels in the development and refinement of individual and collective lenses for equity. The framework seeks to equip educators with language and resources necessary to take them from a surface level understanding of #EdEquity to a more nuanced way of situating themselves and their actions within the work.
