Teaching Kids How to Care Can Change the World
Description:
While we teach, we learn.
It’s not an easy topic to discuss but parents and caregivers can be the best teachers of social justice. Social justice lessons are learning what happens in the movement to secure basic human rights and establish equal opportunities for all citizens. These are powerful lessons that teach our kids to care.
Having social justice discussions with the kids can help explain some of the difficult current events impacting our world. These lessons are also opportunities to teach our kids how to discuss controversial issues with people who don’t agree with them. That’s a skill that can change anyone’s world.
Teaching our kids how to care will change them, us and our world.
