SXSW 2020
Multifamily's Design Revolution
Description:
Tectonic shifts in households, work, consumer preferences, tech and more are poised to radically reshape the living experience for the nation’s 39 million apartment dwellers. Apartment homes in the future will need to be more connected, personalized, flexible, convenient and healthier than ever.
In this session, we’ll explore these major shifts and discuss how apartment design and development can better adapt to them, minimizing the drag from disruption. In addition, we’ll showcase how some of these concepts might be put to work with a series of innovative, VR-enabled visualizations of what apartments in the not-too-distant future might look like.
