Our work days are getting noisier. Never-ending emails, text messages, constant notifications from more apps and more platforms—it’s disruptive and distracting. Furthermore, this onslaught of technology has changed the way people interact with one another and is having a damaging effect on employees’ creativity, productivity, and overall ability to focus. How can companies combat workplace distractions to ensure happiness and success at work?
This session will discuss different practices to overcome technology’s distractions and improve the way people and teams work together. From cognitive and environmental control to meditation, panelists will provide tactical strategies for fostering better practices in the digital workplace and explain how to create improved work environments.
