SXSW EDU 2020
Parent Power: Key to Transforming Education Systems
Description:
All communities care equally about the education and future of their children. But caring is not the same as power. This session explores: (1) how parent leaders organize their community and exercise their innate power – individually and collectively - to drive change; and (2) how as their allies we need to overcome our biases to forge common values that then enable change to happen.
