Reinventing China: The unofficial voice from KOLs
Description:
In recent years, the Chinese KOLs are making their voices heard both domestically and internationally. They are telling the stories with an unofficial voice, which is now turning mainstream. It keeps refreshing the images of China from the stereotypes both in the West and in the mind of the locals. On the other hand, as the influencer economy was growing rapidly, a large number of influencer incubators sprang up in a short period. Is this new China naturally evolved or incubated for the need of the economy? Are the incubated influencers unveiling the truths about the country that is often in the centre of attention, or are they manufacturing an illusion? That’s a question to be discussed.
