SXSW EDU 2020

Why Community Nurses Go Outside of the Hospital?

Description:

The session will show you the new style of health education by "community nurses" in Japan. The 5% of people is possible to die by the heart attack today, but only 4% of people understand how to do CPR. “Kangoshies”, a nurse community with over 100 nurses in Tokyo is having a series of casual meetup named “Shibuya Nurse Sake Bar”, and doing instruction of CPR for many office workers by using plastic bottles. The session will re-evaluate importance of educational activities by nurses.
