SXSW 2020
The New Chardonnay: Wining, Dining + Weed
Description:
By 2020, West Hollywood, CA will be home to the largest concentration of establishments in the US where anyone over 21 will be able to belly up to the bar and order cannabis-infused drinks, food and more. Cities in Colorado and Massachusetts are gearing up for cannabis cafes and lounges to open, too. As momentum for legalization continues, what will happy hour look like in the future? How will the end of prohibition impact the way people socialize and what they order when they go out for a "drink?" What are the safety challenges? How will consumers learn about the new menu? On this panel, you will meet three entrepreneurs from the food and wine world tackling this new frontier.
