SXSW 2020
A Moonshot for Entrepreneurship throughout the US
Description:
Despite some notable events with “unicorn” startups, overall entrepreneurial activity in the US is down. One bold solution is taking a systems approach and powering up “Ecosystem Builders” that combine grass-roots work to develop startups and entrepreneurial communities with the policy and strategy work of policymakers and key stakeholders.
The Kauffman Foundation has teamed with community builders and many organizations supporting entrepreneurship to launch the ESHIP Goals & Initiatives designed to reduce barriers and help ensure all entrepreneurs have access to the networks and other resources they need.
Panelists representing key roles in this emerging field will share their perspectives on the opportunities for this work and successes already achieved.
