Building Equity in Media

Description:

A key component of building digital equity in diverse populations across the country is providing people meaning tools for creation, literacy and understanding in the digital economy. Media centers are finding ways to develop programs to build digital skills and a diverse creative workforce. This session will look at examples of non-profit media organizations that work to empower youth in the creative economy, and provide meaningful education for disenfranchised communities.
