Teachers in Tech: Talking with Career Changers
Description:
This live podcasting session will explore why teachers go into the tech industry, and why they choose to either leave or stay in the teaching profession. The K12 Engineering Education Podcast (www.k12engineering.net) will talk with teachers or former teachers about their career decisions and what spurred and blocked their career paths. Previously in the podcast we heard why engineering professionals turned into K-12 teachers, and now we will focus on the other direction, also discussing ideas for retaining quality teachers and the skills that teachers bring to the tech industry.
