In today’s climate, brands are feeling more pressure than ever to act as forces for social good. However, in an effort to appeal to their target audiences, companies often come across as disingenuous when championing social causes. Emerging technologies are allowing for the creation of digital platforms and advertising campaigns that enable brands to do the right thing, while staying true to their brands. Deloitte Digital, Facebook and National Geographic created such a platform that celebrates women in the industry and creates a community of encouragement.
In this session, executives from these companies will discuss ways in which technology can be used to authentically promote social good initiatives and empower communities to share their voices through creative content.
