SXSW 2019
Future of Community Healing for Women of Color
Description:
The cornerstone of the work of our collective is to imagine new and unlimited possibilities for women of color and to create these new possibilities is a collective and community effort from women of various backgrounds, identities and industries. We want to invite the SXSW community to come together to discuss the ideas of communal healing and community building for the sake of conceptualizing a future where brown lives are not simply fighting for survival in order to flourish - instead a future where people of color are safe and enjoy life in its fullness in body, mind and spirit. We call on attendees to meet, share, and listen to the stories and experiences of other attendees as forms of healing, strategizing and building.
