Back in 2016 while the world was busy chatting about Periscope and Facebook Live and deciding whether or not they will use these new tools, China had already launched full-force into the era of live streaming. Seeing the opportunity, this blue-eyed, blond-haired girl, decided to jump on board making a full-time living livestreaming! In this talk, we’ll explore the industry and answer the burning question, can China’s livestreaming trend be replicated in the West or is it a cultural thing that will only work in China?
