SXSW EDU 2019
SEL on Trial
Description:
In this presentation, we put SEL on trial, just like it is every day in most of our schools. Come learn how to be a great defense attorney. Our prosecutor will deliver the arguments about SEL-the barriers, pitfalls, time demands, intrusion on parents' rights, and more. You will hear defense attorneys give the counterarguments and present the case from perspectives like teachers, administrators, business leaders, sports coaches, college admissions folks, equity experts. The audience is the jury.
