SXSW EDU 2019
Sex Ed in the #MeToo Era
Description:
To eradicate our pervasive culture of sexual assault, we must invest in comprehensive and inclusive sex ed. If all children grow up with a concrete understanding of healthy relationships, consent, boundaries, and more - our entire society will reap the benefits. This panel will convene a journalist, youth activist, and a leader of a sex ed YouTube series to discuss why it's time we treat sex ed as a core part of a child's education like math or history.
