Can Your Kid Do This? Raising a Painting Prodigy
Description:
Is there really such thing as a child art prodigy? How do we separate genius and creativity from hype and privilege? And how are these children shaped by the experiences, or pressures, of their parents? Renowned 14-year-old painter Evan Sharma will be joined by his father, Dr. Sanjay Sharma, and art journalist Jacoba Urist, author of a feature on child prodigies in The Atlantic, to discuss what it means to grow up a prodigy -- and how it feels to raise one.
