The many problems surrounding getting the correct visas for musicians to come to the US have been much discussed, but touring today is a global business and the requirements of other territories are often overlooked until the last minute.
Many of the expanding markets like China have complicated work permit and visa application processes which are subject to change without notice. This panel session intends to discuss the importance of considering emerging markets as potential work destinations, and how to get there successfully and legally, with a focus on the music/entertainment industry.
