Situated Learning - The Power of Internships

Description:

Young people forge invaluable connections with mentors when they engage in learning focused on an area of shared interest situated in an authentic learning environment. We will discuss how to develop a vibrant, learner-centered internship program, including solutions to logistical challenges and management of complexity. We will share how to coordinate a scalable systematic approach to implementing student internship experiences and leads to college and career readiness and civic engagement.
