The social benefits of domestic composting.
Domestic composting in the cities is a smart, economical, ecological, and educational way to treat organic solid waste. Composting also promotes nutrient recycling, fertilizer production, urban agriculture and food production. This cycle promotes food security and resilience in cities.
Composta São Paulo was the biggest project in LATAM to promove home composting with worm bins.The results of Composta São Paulo show the social benefits of large-scale domestic composting practice.
