Who’s Who in the Classroom? Rethinking Teaching
Beaver Country Day School will transform the way teachers envision and experience professional development. As an inquiry-based learning and interdisciplinary collaborative institution, Beaver believes teachers should have an active part in designing and carrying out their professional development in order to make it truly invaluable. Representatives from the school will lead participants in strategy development in order to help them design their own professional development plans and ideas.

- Practice what we preach and preach what we practice: How professional development should mirror what students experience in class.
- Teachers as designers: Help teachers see professional development as a place where they brainstorm, lead and design their learning experience.
- Collaboration: between teachers (and students) across grades and disciplines.
