Creating Social VR With People Instead of Avatars
While VR and 360-degree video are hot topics in research and industry, many experiences lack social and shared aspects of VR usage as they are single user or avatar-based. TNO has developed a web-based framework for the creation and evaluation of social and shared VR experiences in which users can see each other as if they were really with you in the room. The session will give an overview of the tech, elaborate on use-cases and provide finding an guidelines about creating truly social VR.
