Using Soccer to Tackle Community Challenges

Through sport, cities across the country are tackling challenges—such as lack of safe public space, rising obesity rates, and juvenile delinquency & truancy—head on by bringing quality soccer programming to neighborhoods and transforming underutilized spaces into hubs for physical activity. This panel of city leaders and private funders will talk about how to form successful public-private partnerships and how others can replicate them to improve the lives of youth in their cities through sport.
