Fostering Ecosystems Beyond Token Innovation Hubs
When people think entrepreneurial ecosystem, Boston, San Francisco and San Diego are often the first cities to come to mind. But communities that foster and embrace innovation are growing and thriving in all corners of the country from gritty urban environments like Philadelphia, and small but energetic cities like Austin, to once-booming industrial centers making a revival such as Detroit. Fostering entrepreneurship in these communities requires different thinking, resources and infrastructure.
