Hands-on Bluetooth Workshop

You’ve heard about Bluetooth technology and its low energy functionality but do you understand how it works? In this workshop we will build a Bluetooth device you can control from your phone.

Bluetooth concepts like services & characteristics will be covered while we build the hardware & software. The peripheral will be built with Arduino-compatible hardware using open source libraries and tools. No soldering will be required.

Participants should bring a laptop and are encouraged to bring an iPhone or Android with Bluetooth 4.0. Familiarity with at least one programming language is helpful but not required.
