Data Science: Sexiest Job of the 21st Century?

Harvard Business Review dubbed data science the “sexiest job of the 21st century,” and the increasing availability of powerful, easy-to-use analytical platforms is driving demand for these skills. In this panel we will discuss new approaches to reaching and educating the next generation of data scientists, including social media, competitions, hackathons, mentorships and more traditional methods. We will explore the demand for data scientists across industries, as well as which skills are most important (think curiosity, creative thinking and collaboration). In addition, we will discuss data science projects that are making a difference, and what’s important for the future of data science.
