React Animations - Practically Applied
React is great for building UI components and maintaining the state of your application, but one thing that falls out of its normal bounds is animations. The React framework tries to keep you from accessing the DOM and other underlying aspects of the rendering implementation, but unfortunately the animation libraries that are out in the wild need access to the underpinnings of your application. How can these two things be reconciled?
This talk covers some of the basic ways things can be animated within React but still live in a React world. It will also cover some of the common libraries and techniques that can be used to build animations in your application.
