The Wrong Way - The Future of Transport

Technology is transforming personal and commercial transportation but we’ve not yet arrived at our destination. As our populations become increasingly urbanised and connected we envisage a future of engineered serendipity – where things work, we find our way and things arrive when we need them.
This panel session would discuss the future of transportation, how personal and commercial mobility is changing and the obstacles that are currently littering the road.
Including:
Location – Getting to precision in a world where 75% of the world remains unaddressed.
Human to machine communication - How do we find new ways to simply communicate with the machines and systems that augment our lives

Takeaways

  1. How do they see personal transportation changing? How do they imagine their commute in 5 years time? 10 years time?
  2. What takes to make these realities? What do they see doing in their capacity to make these happen?
  3. What obstacles currently stand in the way? Are they technical or cultural and how do we overcome them?
