SXSW 2017
The Revolution of Transit Innovation
Transit is on the verge of a revolution. In a young, tech, growing city like Austin, the next generation of transit must meet this generation’s needs in innovative ways. Innovation is in motion at Capital Metro in the near-, mid- and long-term as it searches for unique ways to deliver a more efficient system from outside orgs. Three experts, representing three different aspects of the transit universe (operator, manufacturer, developer) facilitated by a skilled moderator will share their three perspectives: local, national and international. Each panelist will share a 3D view of transit technologies that will affect the way people move around their city today, tomorrow and around the corner.
