Minecraft in the Real World

Players of Minecraft come from every country and territory on the planet, and each month there is a global community of over 40 million unique Minecraft players. The open world format of Minecraft naturally promotes creativity, collaboration and problem solving.

We will explore how Minecraft - in the hands of educators, urban planners, artists, hospital administrators, nonprofits and our young people - is changing our physical world. Educators in more than 10,000 classrooms around the world have been using Minecraft to teach history, physics, art, digital citizenship, and more. Urban planners are using Minecraft as a tool for design and community input. Explore the possibilities with us.
