Thinking Outside the Cart: The Future of Ecommerce
“Thinking outside the cart” is a hands-on workshop that takes a deeper look at the shopping cart as an ecommerce tool. What was the experience like in the beginning? How has it evolved? Has the digitally savvy consumer made it irrelevant? In this workshop participants will investigate the past and present of the shopping cart within the context of digital commerce, the reasons why it should be phased out and the tools brands have at their disposal to do so. Using several different digital commerce customer experiences, your mission will be to analyze the customer journey and envision a cart-less alternative.
