SXSW Interactive 2016

In a post-marriage equality America the next frontier is the proliferation of all types of LGBT family configurations. In this solo panel, Michael, a single gay dad co-parenting with a lesbian couple details his personal exploration and journey to building a family, including hetero co-parenting, international adoption and surrogacy, domestic surrogacy and adoption and many of the other configurations available. We'll discuss the joys and pitfalls along the way including overcoming your own internal bias about parenthood, the bias of friends - both gay and straight - and family and society. Whether you're thinking about starting the journey or already a #supergaygrandparent you're welcome.
