Facebook’s Instant Articles have been one of 2015’s most hotly-debated topics in media. As publishers cede control of content distribution to tech companies like Facebook and Apple, they will have to fundamentally change both their editorial strategies and revenue models. Readers will expect content to come to them not on a website but on whatever platform they’re most comfortable reading, watching, or commenting. But this doesn’t have to be the “content apocalypse” — those who move quickly and aren’t afraid to change can find massive growth opportunities.
