Real Science, Games, & You: Explore with NOVA Labs

NOVA Labs (pbs.org/nova/labs) is a new digital platform from the producers of PBS’s NOVA that engages teens and lifelong learners in games, interactives, and videos that foster authentic scientific exploration. In this talk, we will explore how scientists, game developers, and content producers work together to create an experience that challenges students to predict solar storms, build RNA molecules, explore the biodiversity of life on Earth, and more. We will also showcase the games and videos from the NOVA Labs and discuss how educators are using NOVA Labs as a learning and engagement tool in classrooms across the country.
